I’ve spent the last 25 years delivering highly-tailored mindfulness, yoga and wellbeing programs to thousands of individuals and organizations, as well as professional and collegiate athletes across the United States. I have also recently(2025) partnered with Premier Sport Psychology and Justin Anderson (Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins, Las Vegas Raiders, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Lynx, the University of Minnesota and dozens more) to bring our integrated performance solution to coaches, players and teams in professional and collegiate athletics.

My journey into yoga began in 1996, while finishing my BFA in Dance at the University of Minnesota. About a year and a half later, and after I had studied and worked in Asia, I committed to a full-time career, teaching Ashtanga yoga and mindfulness meditation to a broad range of students.

Over the last few decades, I’ve created wellbeing programs for dozens of corporate clients, mental health clinics, school districts (THRIVE Girl) and athletic teams. A few of my clients include: the University of Minnesota Gophers Men’s Football Team, St. Paul Public Schools, Code42 Software, University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts, the University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, The Therapy Place, One Yoga and Arena Dances.

From 2002-2014 I also held the position of Lecturer at the University of Minnesota, where I worked extenesively with student athletes spanning nearly every athletic team. In the summer of 2014, I partnered with the University of Minnesota Gopher’s Men’s Football Team and coach Jerry Kill, to provide the football team with twice-weekly yoga sessions.

For those with a deeper understanding of the lineage of yoga in the West, I consider my primary teachers and primary and key influences to be: Richard Freeman (Ashtanga) William Prottengeier (Iyengar), Angela Farmer (Iyengar), and Chuck Miller (Ashtanga). I’ve completed two intensive and extensive yoga teacher trainings, including the 200 hr. Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre Teacher Training and a Trauma-Sensitive Teacher Training with David Emerson. I am a CYT-500 level teacher and have more than 1000 actual training hours under my belt.

My approach to optimizing health and wellbeing is rooted in a combination of ancient healing practices, modern science and a holistic mindset. I hope that you’ll decide to connect with me at some point during your own health journey, or that of your organization or team.

And just rememberYour health is your true wealth!

Christine has been a critical part of my overall fitness and wellness routine for over 5 years. I first consulted with Christine in 2012 for personal needs related to stress management, cancer recovery and maintaining my fitness and health while working in an extremely demanding position at a mid-size tech company. I subsequently hired Christine to work with my employees, which led to her to creating a yoga and meditation program for over one hundred employees. She also delivered on-site yoga classes multiple times/week for over 3 years. Her approach to everything was incredibly professional. Christine possesses an incredibly positive and contagious approach to living and has had a large impact not just on my own quality of life and overall health, but also that of just about anyone I saw her work with. I recommend Christine to any individual, but also to any business or organization looking to provide a higher quality of care to their employees or team members.

“Christine was my first yoga teacher and has been my private teacher for over 15 years. Through health and personal challenges, as well as numerous career changes, she has tailored a practice to my needs and created a focused space where I can practice confidently and with a sense of ease. Christine has provided me with a welcome challenge no matter what is going on. She is kind, present and also just an awesome person who provides me with a ton of inspiration.”
