In-Season Programs & Services

I offer highly specialized in-season services & programs for teams, coaches and individual athletes. My services can be delivered organizationally, to divisions of teams or solo — to individual players. I have worked with groups of 100+ very effectively.   • The physiological benefits of a regular yoga practice for athletes are now well documented. Performance-related improvements in flexibility, strength, recovery time and cardiovascular performance are widely accepted as common outcomes. Factors such as reduced inflammation and soreness, as well as improved immune function, have also been reported. A decreased risk of injury is evident.

    The psychological benefits of yoga and mindfulness meditation-based interventions with athletes have also been researched widely, with overwhelmingly positive outcomes. Significant decreases in performance-related stress and anxiety, as well as enhanced self-awareness and an increase in the ability to focus are just a few gains that can be counted toward a healthier and higher-performing athlete.

  • My focus in-season is on mental agility, stress-tolerance, recovery, improvement in focus, emotional regulation and injury-prevention with the primary aim of optimizing performance and elevating overall wellbeing.

    For athletes, I combine a restorative, and therapeutic approach to the yoga postures, taught in tandem with breath work and mindfulness meditation — aimed at balancing the nervous system, improving focus, reducing and managing anxiety and grounding and anchoring the mind and body to promote healing, quicken recovery times and enhance the psychological and emotional health of each player.

    I work individually and with the team as a whole.

  • I offer a combination of programs and stand-alone services, which include:

    1. On-site services: Program design and delivery, to include mindfulness coaching and therapeutic yoga Instruction aimed at quicker recovery from injury, improving self-awareness, focus and optimizing performance.

    2. Pre-season — Mindfulness coaching and on-site, therapeutic yoga sessions (private and team). Week-long, 3 day and 1 day offerings.

    3. On-site Intensives, customized as 1 Day, 2 Day, 3 day and 5 day sessions. Tailored to team needs.

    4. Individual sessons — virtual or in-person

    5. Zoom: guided mindfulness meditation and yoga instruction for individual athletes and coaches.

    6. Remote and in-person yoga and meditation sessions

    7. Lifestyle & wellbeing coaching.
